1867 tsar Alexander II sold Alaska to the USA for 7,2 Miljon dollar.
The american foreginminister William Seward where made a fool in the press for having bought the largest refrigiator in the world.
The enormus oil findings that where found in Alaska by the americans is making this to one of the best affairs of all times.
During the cold war the americans could also be happy that the red army didn´t having any base in North America.
