William ”Bill” Cooper was a radio host, author and political activist.
Cooper was making a controversial name for him self in the 1980´s. He began to claim that UFO exists and that William Greer (the driver) killed JFK.
And whell he couldn´t be more wrong about Greer, it dosen´t show any evidence on the zapruder film as he claims.
But what happened when Cooper died?
Several sources on the internet claims that he was murderd in a sinister plot, perhaps since he knew to much.
But that dosen´t seem to be the case when you look at the real story, the one people very often dosen´t botter talking about.
The police of Apache County was attempting to serve a arrest warrant on Cooper, the police had information about Cooper could be heavly armoured and that he also could have explosives at his home.
The reason for the arrest warrant where that Cooper exited his home got in his car and started chasing another car, when he got the other driver to stop, he threatned him at gunpoint.
When the police approached Cooper he passed them and drove to his home, he then turned around and the police told him to drop the gun he was holding, he didn´t instead he open fire on the police, which lead to the police returning the fire.
Burlingtonews has the story about Cooper also projectcamelot has an intresting page which is about the Cooper ”mystery”
projectcamelot deservs another look actually.
The page has five questions which in fact is very easy to answer to.
(1) Cooper would have had to pass the marked Police patrol vehicle while going down the hill. Why would he do so without seeing it and fleeing? Further, how could he drive around it once it came onto the road while Cooper was en route back to his home?
First of all, why would Cooper flee?
He probably didn´t know about the arrest warrant.
Second, is there any chance the police car was hiding somewhere, since it acording to the question ”it came onto the road”.
(2) If Police intended a peaceful, non-violent arrest, why send a SWAT Team?
The police where maybe intended to a peacefull non-violent arrest, but how does the police answer to people that is said to have alot of firepower and even explosives at home?
I don´t think they send one deputy to get the person/persons.
(3) Cooper had lost one leg in combat many years previously. How could he run so fast?
When did Cooper loose his leg in combat?
Is it impossible that he acctually trained this abbillity from the day he lost his leg?
Just like a person who loses his hands learns how to things whit his feats?
Anyway a quick use of google and the phrase ”cooper lost leg” gives a couple of questions.
Skepticfiles says
Another item of interest is regarding Mr. Cooper’s prosthesis. During
his Hollywood High School seminar and other presentations, he has stated
that he lost his leg when two government aaents in a large black car ran
him off a cliff while he was riding his motorcycle. He stated that due
to blood loss and the extent of damage to his leg, it had to be amputated.
In an attempt to verify any of the claims made by Mr. Cooper during his
Hollywood High seminar, an investigation was conducted by private
investigators which encompassed looking into the accident itself and how
Mr. Cooper lost his leg. It is interesting to note that in the report
made at the hospital regarding his accident, as well as in subsequent
reports made by law enforcement personnel, in spite of the fact Mr. Cooper
made a brief mention of his big black car scenario, the law enforcement
officers made it clear that Mr. Cooper reeked of alcohol and it was obvious
that the story was fabricated by Mr. Cooper to protect himself.
Coopers own story, and whell its obivius to all that he didn´t tell the truth here.
konformist gives that cooper lost his leg in serivces.
Cooper had lost a leg in military service.
arguewiteveryone.com also goes on the hoax whit the motorcycle accident
Cooper had lost a leg in a motorcycle accident many years before, and police surveillance indicated that there was a high probability that his home contained a number of firearms.9 Police believed that if they could lure Cooper out of his home they would have a better chance of arresting him.
(4) If Cooper drew a gun and fired ”while running back toward his home” as police say, how could he hit a Deputy once and possibly twice in the head? A head-shot is a difficult thing to accomplish with a hand gun, never mind two head shots while the shooter is running.
Cooper was trained in the military serives, he was also said to have alot of firepower at home, so if this was the case, why is it impossible? I mean he was trained to kill in the military, and he could very easly have been practicing at home.
(5) Why were Paramedics ”on the scene standing by” if Sheriffs intended this to be a peaceful arrest?
The same answer here as to Question (2)
They hoped that it would go peacefull but since there was words about he having alot of firepower and even explosives at home, they couldn´t say that it would go peacefully to 100%.
And the question remains from me, why should the police not send the Swat team, Cooper had threathed a man at gunpoint so why should they play kidsgames whit him?
Cooper cleraly showed that he was a force to recon whit, and there for the police sent the Swat team.
What did happen to Cooper?
Whell, the only thing i know is that he wasn´t killed mysterious as some people claimed.
The only thing i can come to, is that Cooper become paranoid and thought the Goverment was after him, and the Doctor driving passed his home was a goverment agent.
According to me there is no other explanasion.
