Bob Probert dies

Aftonbladet reports that the former NHL-fighter Bob Probert died during a tour on a boat. He was rushed to hospital whit heavy chestpains but his life couldn´t be saved.

Cause of death is not clear but its suspected to be a heart attack. During his 17 year long carrer Probert played for Detroit Red Wings (1985-1994) and for Chicago Blackhawks (1995-2002). During these 17 seasons he got 3 300 minutes in the penaltybox.
In 935 games he scored 384 points (163+221)-
In 1989 Probert tried to smuggle in cocaine and was convicted for possesion and sentcened to six months in prison.

”Our thought and praiers goes to the Probert family during this hard time” says Blackhawks president John McDonough in a statement.

Bob Probert had a wife and four children.
