Captain Kidd


Captain Kidd was born as William Kidd around 1645 and died on May 23 1701 and was a noturios pirate

Captain Kidd was arested and acused of murder and five counts of piracy, he was found guilty on all of those accounts, and was hanged on May 23 1701 in London, his associates where also convicted but before they would be hanged they where pardoned.

His treaures is said to have been burried around the world, some examples are Oak Island outside Canada, Long Island New York where Gardiner´s Island is, Charles Island Milford in Connecticut, the Thimble Islands in Connecticut and the island of Grand Manan in the Bay of Fundy.

On Gardiners Island there is a spot known as the Cherry Tree Field, where a small chace of treasure was, but it was removed by the Govenor and sent to England as evidence against Captain Kidd.

In December 2007 reports said that “the wrecakge found in shallow waters off the Dominican Republic where from a pirate ship abandoned by Captain Kidd in the 17th century, and it´s belived to be the Quedagh Merchant”
