Dutch Apple Pie

Crust:
2 cups of flour
3/4 cup melted butter
1/2 cup oatmeal
1 cup brown sugar

Mix together and set aside 1 1/2 cups for topping. Press the remaining in the bottom of a 9 inch pie pan.

Filling:
2/3 cups sugar
1 1/4 cup water
3 tablespoons cornstarch

Cook and stir until thick. Stir in 3 cups of diced apples and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour over crust and put remaining crust mixture on top. Bake at 350* for 45 minutes.
