While Israel where bombing the Egyptian airforce to piceces on the first day of the war, happy egyptians where parading through the streets of Kairo.
On the radio the newscrew gladly speaks about how egyptian airplan and missiles and droping bombs all over the city´s in Israel, the first official number of loses from the army said that 86 enemyplane had been shot down and only two had been lost.
But at that time several hundreds of Egyptian planes had been shot to pieces. Even the president of Egypt Abdel Nasser was keept in the dark, no one dared to tell him the truth, not untill the afternoon when he visited the army headquarter did he realise what had happened.
