In the Black Sea there is a monastery from the 5th century, which is claimed to have the remains of John The Baptist in their possession.
Researchers that have been working at the site found a box whit human relics, parts of a human skull hand and a tooth were found in the box.
The place of the monastery is located just outside the town of Sozopol. On one jar found the researchers belive it is a date, June 24. The 24th of June is celebrated as the birthday of Jesus.
So far very little evidence has been presented for it to be the bones of John the baptist, som many people including the Vatican is still vaiting for more information before making a statement. But the entire history is intresting.
