Some researchers belives today that they at last have found the place where the legendary Pocahontas where married, something that for a long time has pussled researchers.
The location where the 19 year old girl got married in 1614 is belived to a church in the fort of Jamestown Virginia. During an dig at the sites researchers found several deep holes that they belive would have been filled whit wooden pillars that supported the church built in 1608.
A row of graves where found close to the altar, which did convince the researchers that they actually had found the old church of the fort.
It was in 1614 that Pocahontas got married to widowes John Rolfe and did later give birth to his son, but she died not far after in 1617 at the age of 21 in England, why she died has not been revelead.
