In Ytterby outside Kungälv, archaeologists belives that they have found the place many people has been looking for in centurys.
In old sources the place Kungahälla is often mentioned, a important norwegian outpost, in whats today is Bohuslän.
Earlier findings in the area hasn´t showed that the city is older than early 1100 century.
Now the dig has been moved about a kilometer, and there on a even smaller area found traces of mideval hoses and a great hall from the viking era, about 40 meters long and 7 meters wide.
