Italian goverment bought doubtfull Michelangelo statue

A court in Rome has orderd a investigation if the Italian goverment was wasting whit money when they recently bought a small statue that is said to be a work of Michelangelo, but if its really is, that the question. Its about a four inches high sculpture of wood that is showing Christ on the cross and did cost around 30 miljons. Acording to some researchers the statue dosen´t hold any high quallity and there is no certain proofs that ties the statue to Michelangelo.
