Martin Bormann was sentenced for a politic murder already in the 1920s, but it was more a merit when he joined the naziparty, as a leader of the parti and Hitlers personal secretary he had gotten himself a powerfull position.
During the last days of the war, Bormann disaperd whit out any trace. It started rumors that he had survived and fleed to Southamerica, but in the late 1990s DNA testings on remains found close to Hitlers bunker showed to be the remains of Bormann.
