Painting shows the oldest clock

Artexperts has been able to identify what is belived to be the oldest painted picture of a mechanical clock.
It´s British Science Museum that has been hunting for a painting whit a clock for the reason of their new exhebition about time and clocks.
The painting is made around 1560 by Italian painter Maso de San Friano. The painting is belived to have Cosimo I of Medici, count of Florens.
Cosimo is proudly showing his clock, the first portable clocks where made in Germany at the beginng of the 1500th century.
