Acording to Henri Stierlin, a arthistorian from Switzerland, the famous 3,400 years old statue of the Egyptian queen Neferitti is in fact made in 1912 on a request from the german archelogist Ludwig Borchardt.
Stierlin is convinced that Borchart had the statue made to test old Egyptian colors. But when a German prins saw the statue Borchart couldn´t say the truth.
Stierlin is basing his theory is that the statue is missing its left eye, which would be a great shame in Egypt. He also points to the features of the face which is made in a way that reminds about modern art noveau stile.
Acording to Stierlin is its impossible to date statue since it was cut out in stone.
Egyptian researchers dosen´t belive Stierlin theorys, they claims that the left eye has been destroyed during the recent years.
They also claims that will Nefritti was living many new art forms where started, and some reminded about art nouveau.
Some sources claimed that Neferiti become queen when her husband died and she ruled Egypt from several years. She got six children, all of them girls.
