Roman cavalary helmet on auction

The very well preserved ancient Roman helmet is going on auction at Christie´s, its belived that it would bring in between 200.000 to 300.000 pounds.

It was discoverd in the UK, and it features the face of a Roman athlete.

Helmets are mostly associated whit war and this helmet could have been worn during hippika gymnasia, which where used as a sporting event whit the cavalary.
