Acording to the story several people toke their lifes after the big crash on wallstreest in 1929.
”Do you want a room to sleep in or jump from?” is said that the clerks was asking the new guests.

But acording to researchers its just a myth, there was a uprising in suicides during the 1920, but there wheren´t any big diffrence shortly after the crash as in the begining of the 1920s.
