Around the 1900 a resturant in New York the hotell Waldorf started to serve a comming classic sallad.
The man behind the sallad is said to be Oscar Tshirky, even called ”Oscar on Waldorf” he worked in the famous hotel in fifty years. He was also collecting menus, they are today archived in the Cornelluniversity in New York.
