The Swedish-German count and military Philip Christoph Königsmarck was in 1689 having a duty as curneal in Hannover. During the stay in Hannover he had an afair whit Sofia Dorotea, wife of George Ludvig (in 1714 he become the George I of England). After a visit to Sofia Dorotea, where she and Philip was planning to escape, he dissaperd.
Most likely he got killed, on the mission of George Ludvig, But there is also another theory that a previous lover to Köningsmark, which he had left for Sofia Dorotea, where behind the killing.
When Philip left Sofia, people was waiting for him, and killed him what then happened to the body has never been proven, there is sources that his body where chopped to pieces and burried under the floor of the castle in Hannover.
