The hero from Narvik committed suicide

Carl Gustaf Fleischer was commander in charge for the Norweigan forces in the Norther of Norway, During the battles of Narvik he become the first allied general to cause the Germans a defeat. On the 7th of June 1940 he was orderd in exile, and followed King Håkon and the Norweigan goverment to London. There he soon fall out of line whit the former norweigan goverment and when a new commander would be appointed in 1942 he was bypassed. Instead he was sent to Canada to be a commander for a unit that didn´t exist, it was also here that he took his life.
After the war the goverment didn´t attend a memorial for the hero from Narvik.
