When the white people arrived in 1609 Manhattan where a wildground that consisted of forests and Swamps, where wolfs and other dangerous animals where walking around. The area where home for a indiantribe called Lenape, they called their island ”Mannahatta”. Now a group of researchers has been able to make an interaktiv map that in detail shows the area that today is New York´s centrum, and what it looked like before the white arrived in 1609.
