Shortly after the fall of the Berlinwall in 1989 Great-Britans primeminster Margret Thachter and the president of France Francois Mitternad belived that a united Germany would mean a danger for the rest of Europe.
It is showed by newly released documents where the british diplomat Charles Powell is refering to a dinner conversation between Thacher and Mitterand on the 20th of January 1990. They belived that the new Germany could ”reach longer than Hitler had done.”
