It was a steering error and a delibertate decision to continue the voyage, that in the end sank the Titanic, the theory is from Louise Patten, a novelist from Britian. But she´s also a granddaughter of Charles Lightoller, he was the highest senior officer that survived the sinking. In her new book ”Good as Gold” she puts the theory in print, Lightoller should have told his wife Sylvia about the reason for the disaster. The secret was only known to the family untill now.
Since both my grandmother and my mother today are long dead, its only me who knows the history about what really happened when Titanic sank.
Acordning to Lady Patten, the real story was hidden since a hero´s reputation was at stake.
