The Russian family Stroganoff played a important roll in Russian history during around 500 years. By doing buissnes and buying land they also got Siberia to Russia. They got monopoly on the buissnes whit salt and furs which made the family wealthy. The family member that is belived to have given name to the food consteallation is count Alexander Sergejivitj, he lived from 1733 to 1811 and was well knowed for his intressets in food. When he become old he got a harder time to chew which gave his cheif the idea of a new kind of food.
The meat would be chopped in small pieces that could be eaten even if you didn´t have any tooths.
