Unusal findings in Björkå

In Björkå, just outside Sollefteå there a grave from the Ironage has been found

The researchers is now having a Christmas, there are alot of graves found in Scandinavia but a stonechambergrave (stenkammargrav) is very rare.

Researchers are now trying to fight time, since the area whit the grave is on its way to break loose a fall down in the river.

The dig is about 19 meters in diameter and about two meters wide.

Buttons in silver and gold, a pincett and some mettalobjects has been found, so far no bones has been discoverd, but pieces of clothing which could show how people where dressed.
