Newley released documents reveals that USA was supporting Guatemala whit weapons and money despite that americans knew that the country during 1960-96 was murdering political opponents. In a document from American department for foreign affairs from 1984 its said
The goverment has staged an a attack to eliminate persons that is suspected to have connections to the guerilla or is leaing to the political left.
The goverment in Guatemala is belived to be behind about 200.000 killings and kidnappings.
