Wargames is science-fiction movie from 1983 written by Lawrence Lasker and Walter F parkes and directed by John Badham.
The film follows the young hacker David Lightman who access WOPR the supercomuter for the united states military that predicts possible outcomes of nuclear war. He gets the computer to play a war simulation which Lightman belives to be a computer game. The simulation causes a nuclear missile scare and is about to start World War III
